I wanted to share with you an awesome biking opportunity. I am currently connected with Transitions Global, an organization striving to provide adequate and sustainable recovery of victims of human trafficking, especially women in the sex trade. Unfortunately, Portland, Oregon is a prime region for the trade, and considered potentially the #1 city in the United States for trafficking activity. I have been inspired by the work Transitions is doing in Cambodia and India, and they are looking for the people of Oregon's support to build a shelter here, in Portland. Here's where the biking comes in. Bike for Shelter is an event being held this September in order to raise funds for the shelter!
